Description
Go see my other photo listings: here What You Are Buying: Phase One 39 megapixel H101 P45 Digital Camera Back, H2 Camera Kit, and 50mm HC Lens About the Phase One Digital Back: You're looking at the highest standard in digital photography.  This P45 is in beautiful condition with hardly any sign of cosmetic wear as you will see in the photos below.  The sensor is perfect with no problems.  The count shows an extremely low 3591 so for all intents this thing is still brand new.  It comes with the remainder of the full manufacturers warranty which is good until March 22, 2009.  Included in this sale is the H101 39 megapixel digital back, the case and keys, three batteries, the charger, and the Phase One notebook with some paperwork.  The software for the p45 can be downloaded from the PhaseOne website for trial and then purchased.  If you are already a PhaseOne user you most likely have a version of software that you can simply upgrade.  Of course you can also buy adapters to use this digital back with other camera kits.  You can view the P45 specifications here.  Some more good information about this wonderful digital back can be found here. I've contacted some dealers who have told me that you can use this digital back for a trade in on a new P45+ or a new P65.  This is where you can really win if you intend to buy the P45+ or the P65.  If you buy this digital back at the buy it now price then you are allowed to trade it in and pay $8000 towards the purchase of a brand new P45+ ( plus ).  This means you would pay $25,995 for a brand new P45+!  They currently sell new for $32,990 which includes a 3 year warranty.  That gives you an immediate savings of $7000 for a brand new P45+ if you use the buy it now.  That's crazy good savings.  There would be absolutely NO reason to just buy a P45 new for $32,990 when you could use this one to save yourself $7000.00!  If you're looking to buy the P45 plus then simply buying this back can give you some significant savings. If you want to buy this digital back and apply it to the P65 version then you would trade in this back plus $22,490 to buy the P65 version which gives you an immediate savings of approximately $2510 because the P65 sells brand new for $42,990 and has a 3 year warranty.  You can clarify what I'm telling you is accurate by calling any Phase One dealer.  When it was purchased new the original owner shared with me that he paid around $40,000 USD for this P45 back so either way you go...at this price you win.  About the H2 Camera Kit: This kit is absolutely beautiful as the photos below will show you.   It offers the best of both worlds...both film and digital.  The body has been fired only 3644 times.  The 16-32 shot magazine has been cycled only 69 times.  The viewfinder flash has never been fired.  The lens has been fired 1811 times.  Those numbers speak volumes.  Obviously, the kit has been barely used.   The glass on the lens is perfect front and rear with no scratches, haze, fungus, or any other problem. The entire camera still has that "new" feel to it.  I doubt you're going to find another one this nice unless you find one new in the box leftover at a shop somewhere.  A few of the body caps and lens caps have some marks on them but they're caps.  Better to have a mark on the cap than on the camera.  No boxes are included but there is an extra grip, the manual on CD, the quick start guide, blank warranty card, focusing screen masks, and the charging plug with international plug adapters so that it can be charged in many differing outlets.  Everything you see in the photos below is included. They no longer make the H1 kit nor the H2 kit and if you want to have the ability to use varying digital backs then this is your best buy over the new Hasselblad digitals which all have dedicated backs.  You can put a Phase One digital, a Kodak 645H Pro Back, or any other digital back with the proper adapter but the latest Hasselblad's only allow for the Hasselblad digital backs. The H2 sold for around $8000 when new depending on where you bought it.  With the numbers this one is showing maybe someone will think the price to be fair. About the 50mm HC Lens: This 50mm is in beautiful condition.  The glass is guaranteed to be perfect front and rear with no scratches, haze, fungus, or any other problem.  The has only been fired 996 times.  There is no wear on the barrel and it comes with the original lens shade that's also in beautiful condition.  If you want one that's basically at brand new condition then grab this one.  The front cap shows a couple of small marks on it but nothing bad. Payment Arrangements: Payment arrangements will be made to satisfy both parties but Paypal cannot be used on this transaction because it exceeds their limits.  The current owner originally bought all of these items through me and he paid me for the kit via bank wire transfer but, again, we can work with you on the payment arrangements to the satisfaction of buyer and seller.  If using a third party escrow company makes you feel more comfortable then eBay has always endorsed www.escrow.com. Email me with any questions at the "ask seller a question" link at the top right of this eBay page.  Shipping Costs: All USA buyers will pay $65 for Priority shipment with the USPS via registered mail insured for the full amount.  Registered mail is the only way you can ship this with the post office and get full insurance.  It is a very secure method of shipment.  It stays under lock and key the entire trip and every employee that touches the package along the way has to sign a log sheet.  If you do not care to use the U.S. post office you can look at the shipping calculator at the bottom of the page and it will tell you the costs for using UPS.  If you prefer to use Fed Ex or DHL just email me for a shipping quote.  They are much more expensive but you may use whatever service you prefer.  Again, registered shipping fully insured with the U.S. Post office costs only $65.00. Note ** I love and welcome International buyers but you must contact me first to get an exact shipping quote to your country.  The shipping quotes shown at the bottom of this listing are for U.S. buyers only and not International buyers.  International Buyers Read This Part Carefully: Click here if you only want to see feedback comments from people who bought from me in other countries:  International buyers read here I will gladly ship to other countries so long as you do not ask me to write "gift" on the customs forms or to declare the item for a lower value than the purchase price.  Buyers continue to ask me this even after reading this disclaimer.  I hate to lose your business and I don't like the taxes either, but I desire to be honest and hopefully I will not lose too much business because of it.  You may or may not have to pay duty taxes depending on the requirements of your country.  I will ship to your friend or relative in the United States if you have one.  Hong Kong buyers do not pay any taxes so everybody move to Hong Kong!!  If you would like to verify your tax rate then click HERE.  However, I am not responsible for any information on the website.  Please verify anything with your customs office.    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS GEAR: Question: Hello, I'd like to know if this Phase One P45 back can be used with other formats other than the H series and if so what is the cost to make it work with the other cameras? And to clarify the warranty it is good until March 1st in 2009 is this correct?   Answer: The P45 can be used with many differing systems such as the Mamiya 645 AFD, the Hasselblad V series ( which is all of the 200 and 500 series camera body and lenses ), and the Contax system. As a matter of fact the warranty allows you a FREE format change which has never been used. So if you wanted to buy this back and put it onto a Contax then all you have to do is pay for shipping to Phase One and they will change the mount for you for free. Again, totally free. In regard to the warranty it does not run out on March 1st. To clarify, it actually runs out on March 22, 2009. So the back is completely covered until that date. Anything goes wrong at all it's repaired at no cost to you. So you take absolutely no risk in buying this digital back. Hope this helps. blessings, Ken p.s. The back will also work with the Cambo, Horseman, and Alpha systems as well and to work with those you would have to have the appropriate adapter that is sold with those systems. I'm sure it will work with other systems too that I've not listed but we'd just have to call a dealer to find out exactly which ones. It will definitely work with the ones I've listed.   Question: Can this Phase One P45 back be modified Hasselblad V seies mount? What is the cost and lead?   Answer: It can be modified to work with the V series mount and you can send it in to Phase One and they will do it totally free of charge. You get one free mount change while it's under warranty and so far that option has never been used so if you want to buy it and put it on your V system 'blad then you will only have to pay shipping costs to have Phase One change it out for you.   Question: Why would I buy this Phase One P45 Digital back instead of a refurbished back? Aren't they cheaper?   Answer: There are three reasons why you would buy this P45 instead of a refurbished P45. The first reason is because the refurbished backs cost the same amount. They are currently selling them for $17,990 at one of the dealers not too far from me. Secondly, you cannot trade in a refurbished back towards an upgrade. Thirdly, I don't think they will allow you to change the mount for free if you should decide you want to change cameras. With this one you still have a free mount change until March 22, 2009. You may, however, want to clarify the last reason with a dealer for verification because I've not asked them personally. I hope this helps you to make your decision. It's a wonderful piece of equipment as you know.   I took all of these photos personally to show you the condition of all of the items you will be buying:
