They are in MINT Condition in their original Leica leather case. The Glass is PERFECT - free of any marks. The collimation is perfect. The eyecups work smoothly and snap into place. The focus wheel is silky smooth. Included are the Leica case, Leica neckstrap and occular rainguard. The 12x50 Trinovid has been discontinued and is becoming scarce.      The 12x50 is the highest resolving binocular in the Trinovid/Ultravid lines. Leica had to develope a very complex 7 element eyepiece just for this binocular, and ultimately shared with the 10x32. Leica also understood the importance of balance in a high magnification binocular. The 12x50 is so well balanced in the hand, it is easier to hold steady than most 10x's. It is this attention to detail that Leica is so well known for.       The Trinovid BA has one enormous advantage over the Trinovid BN and Ultravid models that followed it. The Trinovid BA allows a much greater compensation for nearsightedness. All binoculars focus "past infinity" to compensate for nearsightedness. The Trinovid BA's will compensate up to about a -5 diopter, while the Trinovid BN's and Ultravids barely a -3 diopter. This means if you are moderately nearsighted - as most of us 40+ folks are - you will be able to use a Trinovid BA with no eyeglasses, but not the Trinovid BN or Ultravid.    The lens cleaning kit I own and recommend is included for FREE with the purchase of any camera lens or binocular I have listed on ebay.
