I belive these cards are HC type cards so they will only work in HC capable devices. These items are NEW and come in a plastic case in a plastic card with a short users manual in many languages. These are great cards to increase the number of photos that can be stored on the camera so that you don't have to download them to the PC as often. They are especially useful when using the video capture feature on most of the newer cameras. I would suggest checking your device's user manual or support site on line to see if your device is capable of using a card with this high capacity. Most all new devices can use it but older devices may or may not be able to use it. A 4 gig card like this can hold between 2528 and 6528 photos or more on a Kodak CX7530 camera depending upon the resolution selected. It can also hold between 288 min and 576 minutes of video or more in a camera like that. Let's just say a card this size will hold a gazillion photos. This is the same type of card as the industry standard SD card which was introduced in 1999 by Panasonic, Toshiba and SanDisk. Kinston is a leading and well respected in the flash memory industry.
