The leica number for it is 14084. A 1961 leica catalog i have describes it as -mouth release fitting all screw-mounting leica cameras. Permits release of shutter by closing teeth on clamp. Complete with 11'' cable release. (ideal for tripping shutter when holding off-camera flash or for handicapped persons)-This MQUOO is in excellent condition. It looks virtually unused. The mouth part is springy and the cable works smoothly and properly. The little knob that is used to lock the cable in the down position works properly. This knob is able to be rotated out for use and moved back inside the mouth part for storage.  This collectors item will be a nice addition to your collection.
